Devin's Birthday!

Happy birthday to Devin!!  He got to work on his birthday this year...  And it was his first day on day shift, it was crazy I guess. I got him a few things and he got himself most of his birthday. A new weapon, and its a good thing cause the store took them out after the Sandy hook shooting only a week later!  He got lucky. And he has put it to good use, him and his friend Andrew go out shooting weekly.

Lost

Last time we went out shooting Devin and Andrew made a obstacle course route with targets along the way to shoot and Devin reloads and just drops his magazines and picks them up later. Well usually he does...  We made it all the way home before we realized he had 2 missing and they were worth the drive back!  (Magazines that hold more than 10 rounds could be a hot commodity here soon...). So we went back and searched for like 6 years!  Ok it was only like an hour and a half. It felt like forever.  I felt like I was in the movie the princess bride watching Devin retrace all of his steps:)  You know? the part when Wesley followed them up over the cliff and reenacted the sword fight?...  Maybe I'm crazy...

And we only found 1...   We figured someone drove by on a ATV and swiped it(like I said they're a hot commodity). But I did find a cool rock:) And ya I'm wearing bright blue socks with flip flops!  haha I'm also prego, so at least you can see my toes! :)

We have lots to be thankful for:)

I know I'm extremely late but I just needed to put up pictures mostly!  I made this Thanksgiving dinner all by myself for the first time!!  Devin was sleeping cause he was on night shift at the time. He literally had to eat and run right to work thanksgiving night...  Lame!  But here it goes:).

I got a cute little 5 pound turkey:). It made some seriously salty gravy... But still good.

I made green bean casserole!  A personal fave. I made enough to last me till Christmas. Literally.

Pumpkin pie of course!  That got ruined...  I forgot to turn down the heat after 15 minutes..  Poor guy.

Rolls!

Sweet potatoes!  Which were actually quite good. Devin wouldn't even try them!  I put marshmallows on and everything.
