OPD! again.

THEY CALLED!

They loved the background check :)  They only called and talked to everyone that has ever know of Devin's existence here on earth...  And we get to move onto the next step! Psych test!  Does this mean it's official???  Is he hired???  I'm starting to think we shall never know..  They have never come out and said that exactly but I think it may be safe to assume.. ?  So far still a mystery.  The next test, the psych test, is March the 4.  Hopefully our little man makes his appearance before Dad has to leave town for a few days... (He has to go up to Utah to take the test.) This is just another mystery in our lives!  I have began to wonder if I will ever NOT be pregnant again, it seems like I'm just stuck like this..  heaven knows!

OPD update

So update on the Ogden Police Department job...  We found out a while ago that Devin was number 7 on their list, they make a list of who is the best as number one and so on.  He was 7!!!  and they were hiring 5-8 people in the beginning!  So we were a little closer.... Now for the very intense background check.  They called more than half of Devin's family and my Dad and they even called me!  They told Devin that they were going to turn in his packet/narrative that was being compiled on Tuesday, Feb 5 and the main guy who was putting his packet together and making phone calls said Devin's chances were very good and he said to one of the family members that they were hiring 8 people for the start so I can be excited right?? I don't dare..  So now it's a waiting game!  Me and Devin seem to be always waiting for something so it's not even phased us haha.  But if, yes if, he does have the job we will probably get to move from Gilbert to Ogden like next month!  And then he will have another academy to go through before he can start the actual job but they are going to pay him to do that so it's not too bad of a deal.  In the mean time it would be awesome if we could have this baby!:) Another thing that is on our WAIT list...

Merriest Christmas Wishes!!

Merry Christmas!  A month or two ago..  We had a grand Christmas here:). I got spoiled!  I got movies, new frying pans, amazing scissors(really it makes me happy), an Xbox live account, and a tent!  I know there was more...  Devin got Nerf guns, licorice, a medicine ball, chocolate. It's been too long I can't remember what else we got. Oh knives! He got knives. And yes. Devin had to work on Christmas...  Well not till 9:00 but still!  I made a Christmas dinner and it was good day:). Next year is going to be even more fun with a little 10 month old to spoil!:).

All ready for baby!

There are sooo many things you get to buy before babies get here...  I don't think we have everything still, but I figure we'll figure out what those things are once he's been here for a while.  We got a crib!  that's important..  and we decided that we are just going to use a pack n' play for the first couple months because that will make it easier for me to be lazy:)  and because we should be moving outta here soon!  So it will just be better to set up the big crib at our new house.  The pack n' play we got even happens matches our bed!

  Also we have all his drawers full of goodies, all the goodies that come with being pregnant!  or being done being pregnant..  And the go bags are ready of course!  When we need to get to the hospital.

Nothing too fancy, but it will be much more fun to decorate a nursery once we move!  There is just plain old no room here..

Nesting

So I'm told that one of the signs that you are going to go into labor soon is that you nest.  Or you want to clean, organize, do, make everything, right?  Well does it count if it's your husband that's doing the nesting?  :)

Baby Bump!

By popular demand...  I am putting up pictures of my belly. :)  I needed to get this done anyways so thanks for demanding!  We are 37 weeks and 3 days today.  Which is full term so if he was born today all of his organs are good to go, he's just fattening up now!
