On June 1 we put an offer on a house!!  super exciting:)  it is in Pleasant View, right by Harrisville and North Ogden.  We will actually live just around the corner from Travis and Jordan!  Definitely a bonus!  We looked at one house and that was it and it has been crazy how perfectly it has worked out.  We were moving up here for Ogden Police Department but technically Devin was unemployed and so was I, I mean we had the Military pay but that was just barely not good enough for what the loan people needed, they wanted 30 days or at the very least 14 days of work from Dev at OPD.  So that meant September....  it was June when we learned this...  So we still put the offer on and crossed our fingers!  They didn't decline it! Woo!  But... they put a 'time clause' on it so that it was still on the market but if someone did put another offer on it we had first dibs and we could say we want it within 72 hours, not like we could have come up with that much money magically within that amount of time or we would have just done that in the first place!  We were just livin' on a prayer, hoping no one would see it:)  The sellers ended up deciding to build a house and it wouldn't be done until September so they said we'll take the time clause off! Yaya! the house was officially under contract and we would just wait now....  and wait... and we close on September 17th(which is in 21 days!!) and then hopefully we get to move in that next weekend! I'll be at drill... but we would make it work!  I already have so many plans!  There is an unfinished basement and there are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs with a jetted tub in the master bathroom, I can hardly wait:) and a cute kitchen/dining room and a deck! then we could definitely fit 3 bedrooms downstairs but we will use one as a storage room, there is a cold storage room downstairs, it's like a built in refrigerator that is naturally cold!  and we will need a game room of course!:)  it has a cute backyard too, nothing too grand but we could put a little swing set back there and a tiny wall garden!  and it has an amazing view! minus the highway... but I can't hardly wait!   It's so close! and yet so very far..  Our kids will go to Wahlquist Jr. High and Freemont High School if we even live there that long but that should give you a idea of where it is:)

Home Sweet Home!

6 Months Old!

This little guy is growing so fast:)  already a half of a year has gone by and I can barely keep up with how fast he is going going going.  Now he can sit all by himself and he rolls all over the place, he hasn't quite got the scooting concept yet, but I'm sure it won't be long!  He is such a happy baby:)  He smiles more than he fusses.  He loves to be outside, it will instantly calm him down when he's upset if we step outside.  He could watch sprinklers go for hours!  or the little creek that goes through the backyard.  He loves showers and baths and swimming!  He is an early riser... He loves music.  He does not like squash.  He's just perfect:)  I'm a proud mama!

His great-grandpa Sohler was a ''sea-bee'' in the Navy.  He was on the electrician side of things, but my grandma got David this ''baby-bee'' onsie.  Pretty cute!:)
